East Kilbride Housing Association

Planned Maintenance

Planned maintenance is defined as major repairs, organised and carried out with forethought, control and the use of records to a pre-determined plan.

ANNUAL GAS SERVICING

East Kilbride & District Housing Association will rigorously follow procedures to ensure that we are meeting our obligations as a landlord as confirmed in Gas Safety (Installation and Use Regulations 1994) (amended 1998). We have a legal obligation to carry out a gas safety inspection in every property with a gas supply every year. This is carried out on a ten month cycle to ensure compliance.

We rely on tenants providing access to the contractor in order to service the boiler to ensure it is in good working condition. This is also a condition of the your tenancy agreement. If you are unsure when your last service was carried out please contact the office
